Back to the grind -- revisited!
I posted this text earlier, using the crummy tools on my BlackBerry, which resist editing, etc. So, telling myself NOT to post in that fashion again, I thought you'd want to take another stab at its substance -- as below.

Got back yesterday afternoon, and Joanne and I had had a lovely re-launch of our ever-complicated life together. I slept late this morning, and have had a lazy day. I've set up some business contacts, and will ease back into my organization (I do editorial/analytical stuff -- a bit boring, but predictable and I work with nice folks, mainly). I'm parting the ways with one annoying soul; he's no loss, though I will need to rebuild some relationships he had neglected.
Working from home here can be pleasant; it was a pretty day, and just warm enough to sit out on the deck. (Still no leaves on the trees, but Joanne did "abduct" me to go see Washington's justly famous cherry blossoms, which "peaked" today.)
Spring is upon us!
