Ah, HERE's another great test of the admittedly cumbersome way I'm trying to continue reposting photos from Flickr members, after Flickr told those interested in promoting good photos, in effect, "get lost!"
My delightful friend Karen Piper has always permitted me to repost whatever I wanted as she continued her adventures in art, fashion, and Second Life. Ironically, I didn't follow her into SL because, well, I just couldn't cope with the tech details. Evidently, I HAVEN'T managed the arrangements for my ongoing reposts here on LJ too damned well, either.
But it's sad that I can no longer feature new stuff that Karen puts up on her Flickr. If I didn't provide for a particular shot on Monday night (if it didn't YET exist, say), well, that is "all she wrote."
I do LOVE this meticulously created scene, part of her busy SL existence, showing her beautifully gowned (by an SL designer named Sharodie) at this exciting venue -- in ANOTHER world!
