It was -- albeit, seen from the morning after, there was rather more booze involved than we're accustomed to these days. Some leftover bourbon-laced eggnog in late morn, a lovely bottle of champagne on the beach, a sauvignon blanc with dinner, and our old fave, limoncello, afterward.

We used to drink waaay more than was good for us -- but scaled it back a decade ago. Joanne for the calories, me for health.

yes...*sighs*..my youth was a bit wilder-speaking of drinks and parties, lol :) by the time my stomach strikes (I think it's because of the tons of painkillers I took during last 30 years)
Btw-tried the jasmine tea? Some sorts work like alcohol-no calories :p

I have heard that about jasmine tea -- but tried it, got NO buzz whatsoever.

Gosh, it WAS a boozy weekend, Joanne even leading the way at times. This morning, we were enjoying the sunshine out by the pool, reading, when she asks, would I like a bloody Mary? Why, yes, yes I would -- and off she went to whip up a batch. (We like ours with tequila instead of vodka...) Then, at dinner tonight, a nearby joint, I asked if she would join me for a whisky sour (old fave of ours -- with bourbon); she often declines -- but said yes. In short, she and I are doing well -- same wavelength, etc...

tried this one? http://www.theteatable.com/product/JDT.html :) I'm not sure if it's exactly the one I mean, but by the shaping of tea-petals I suppose I'm right with the sort..here they call it Phoenix Tears (former called Dragon Eyes) It's a jasmine tea-but a bit stronger than the usual one..I'm using the jasmine tea for mood-improvements :)
