Big City

Daniela is another delightful girl using photography to explore the subtleties of her young world. She just moved to the Big City -- Buenos Aires -- from a small town in the Argentine boondocks. She is attending university, hoping to become a veterinarian. (And you should SEE all the amazing photos of animals she's got on her Flickr.) As many younger Argentines, she has wonderful English -- and she writes delightful comments on herself and the subjects she sees through her cameras.

As in the past two weeks, I'm STILL playing contentedly with the several hundred tags I had created a number of years ago -- then stopped using because Livejournal seemed to control how many one could use without having a "pro" account. (And I see I still cannot add new tags -- but I find some from my original bunch are still apt as I apply them to new photos -- as "art nouveau" and "Italian" for my own impressions of Buenos Aires, which I last visited in 1992.)
