Delurking a bit after following you from bigmameg, hope you don't mind :) Just wanted to say getting TOS on Bluray is SO. EFFING. WORTH. IT. The colors and sharpness are ludicrously good and the remastered sound is flail-worthy *is a technogeek, shut up* So don't feel ashamed! Bliss will win out, you know this to be true :P

Dude, AND IT WAS SO FREAKING WORTH IT TIMES FIFTY MILLION. They cleaned up the video wonderfully, and it is sharp and bright and freaking FLAWLESS. I, too, am a fellow technogeek who just spent too much time learning about video compression for my movies and such, so knowing Blu-Rays are uncompressed makes me flail and squeal like an idiot. XD Okay, the only thing that sucks is that The Cage wasn't on there, and that seasons two and three aren't out yet! D: D:

Eeeeeee, yes, yes! The Menagerie does have all the best bits from the Cage, anyway, interspersed with fantabulous Kirk/Spock moments. Oh man, oh man. I love all of TOS so far, even the episodes that aren't so great. THEY ARE JUST SO PRETTY. *_*
