I just got back from Brighton today.
Been there for 2 days seeing friend from college and her new baby girl. Who is a 7 month old bundle of adorableness. It's a pity as she's having her blessing in June when I'm in the desert, and it really sucked cos I would have loved to attend the ceremony.
But I got to see Brighton again, drink cocoa on the seafront, eat chili and gossip. Which I enjoy doing in vast qualities so yay. After going to the station for the 2pm train I bump into an old friend from 2 years back (actually she bumped into me - my headscarves make me very conspicuous) who was coming into Brighton to see Thomas. After gasping and hugging I manage to snag a cup o coffee and gossip about stuff going on in both Bristol and Zurich and how we're working and stuff and it's nice to just chat about things for a short while before I have to board my train.
Then I ride home and knacker my foot in the process. My plantar facisitus has re-surfaced after being dormant for the best part of 8 years. And it bloody kills.
And as I have TRAUMA DAY tomorrow (in caps for emphasis) I'm hoping it can ease overnight.
This is an example of my dedication: going into college on my Annual Leave?
See? Ded-ica-tion! That's what you need.
