ok, last week was just as hard as the week before.
exceptionally so on thursday when a "double whammy" came through the doors at 1pm.
Someone had chugged a bottle of 30 pills and swan dived off a bridge.
Unfortunately for all involved (cos if you do that the bid is certainly NOT a cry for help) they survived and we had to spend the next 12 hours fixing them up.
thank heavens i didn't scrub, but my friends did and with the sickness biting everyone right now it was a scramble to get bodies on the floor to cover the operations that were running over long into the evening.
aside from that we did work in burns which was hectic but not too bad, with TSB being surprisingly cheerful.
although this weekend has passed by in a bit of an exhausted stupor.
And you know you're tired when watching Rocky III looks like a good idea.
although listening to Sly Stallone recite the kaddish was funny.
i'm currently making an experimental lemon cake. It's a sponge cake with lemons with a 999 mix, basic i know but it's the first time and you like to get the basics right before you start trying to be all 'jamie oliver' and stuff.
