it can't rain all the time

worked all day in heavy orthopaedics.
did 3 cases out of 5. if that doesn't nominate me for the Order Of Lenin I don't know what will.

did a tough day's work, couple of surgeons weren't that friendly. One guy, newbie, just mumbled out instructions all day and i think pronoun slipped for most of the day. but cos he was mumbling i couldn't be sure if he was saying the right thing.
trust me, if he says it openly i'll correct him.
and depending how tired/how much pain i'm in depends on how civil i'll be.

worked with Joe in the afternoon, the man's taught me orthopaedics since i was in nappies (figuratively speaking) in this job and it was nice to work with him again, especially since he's been away in General Surgery for a long time.

I also read a portion of this transcript of this USA radio station that's doing the rounds.
well, it's nice to know that "normal" men and women have the right to beat us to death in the eyes of this DJ.
funnily enough i can see Chris Moyles or Jonathan Ross saying the same thing here in the UK.

tomorrow i'm in class.
i've got a dry run on this presentation i'm doing on diathermy.
i'm not that scared really, as long as I can freelance and talk informally I'll be ok.
I don't do "formal" presentations.
Too stuffy and pompous.

oh yeah, last thing.
myself and a colleague saw the following written on one of the drawers in a theatre yesterday: "Specimen Draw"

i don't know really what to say.
right, i'm returning to the Cyrillic alphabet

language, people, trans violence, work, trans stuff, feeling isolated, ussr stuff
