i'm lookin for life, love & laughter, everything in between and what happens after...
this is my schedule as of right now. first, they tried to give me english 101 even though i placed out of it as a freshman and took english 102. then they tried to give me business law but that meant i'd have to commute 4 days a week. then they tried to give me the very same english 102 i had already taken as a freshman. yeah. my advisor is an idiot. finally, he gave me principles of management.
my last couple days at maurices were all right. i was really tired because i was doing morning shifts are the bank and then heading over there until 9:30. i did, however, use my discount for the last time to buy some cute clothes and necklaces :)
heather's birthday party was so-so. as soon as i showed up, her sister needed me to bring her to pick up her boyfriend because she was too drunk. i don't even want to get into what happened with that. when i got back, pretty much everyone had left to go 4-wheeling in the woods. then things got awkward with chris so i left but it's fine now.
i also went to heather's family party. her grandfather ended up backing into my escort and denting the driver's side door. we might take it to get it fixed because he said he'd cover it. the chester fair was okay. kyle and i went for like 2 hours. i had fried dough, a cinnamon bun, and brought home some fudge :D
and then there was york beach. oh man. it was a week full of sun, swimming, shopping, and relaxing. seeing nicole and loni was amazing. we got pizza and brown's ice cream and talked all day. i missed my roomie! kelly brought up her friends emmie, mike, and aj. we had lots of fun with them, too! saturday was our "porter-palooza" family reunion, haha. everyone on my mom's side was there, including my grandparents and adorable little cousins. i love them all so much.
on sunday, we went here:
my aunt and her boyfriend take care of this huge old mansion. it's so awesome. it sits on 63 acres and has a carriage house, a guest house, and lots of other cool things. i'm so jealous. after that, my mom, my sister, and i all went to flatbread pizza in portsmouth. it was SO good! it's cool because it's all organic. tomorrow is check-in at mitchell. wednesday is work at the bank 9:00 - 4:00. thursday is my first day of classes! oh jeez. i am so not prepared.
