The defense logistics agency has just mandated a policy that would destroy ammunition brass before it was resold to the public. This would elimate huge amounts of reloading brass that many of us use and would drive up the prices of ammunition across the board. As I understand it, Demil code B only requires detruction if the item is for export.

Have you seen this thread over at ARFCOM? It's debatable. Sure as hell would be huge if it is as it's presented.

yup I read through the whole thing. it raises some interesting points but it doesn't change my (or most peoples) immediate course of action. Contacting government representatives and telling them what you think.

Where's the DLA source or documentation for this? There are no sources for this other than private companies that would make a lot of money off of a panic amongst reloaders/hoarders.
