La-de-da-de-da-de-dadedade-da!

Holy crap! I just got back from the sold out Decemberists show at the Beta Bar...I don't think I have ever EVER had so much let-loose fun at a show before, ever! I'm so fucking serious when I tell you that they are sick!...and that's the biggest understatement of my life. The lead singers voice is ten times more poignant live, oozing with heartbreaking emotion, especially in a place like the Beta Bar...small, cozy, full of energy, and oh so hott inside. The band is crazy talented...it was like a musical instrument merry-go-round. And by the end of the show, well, I don't even know how to say this because it's gonna sound weird, but the whole entire hipster crowd was laying on the floor, literally. LITERALLY! Haha, so insane! What a connection they made with the crowd...note: lead singer Colin Meloy is both geeky and charismatic...where do I get one of my own? Cover of "Mr. Blue Sky", to die for! Highlight song of the night (if I had to choose just one): "July, July!" Anyways, I highly HIGHLY suggest you see them if they ever come back to Talla-crap-ee again...DO IT! Opening band, Sons and Daughters (from Scotland) kicked arse too. Okay, I'm still delirious and on a concert high and making no fucking sense whatsoever, so I'm gonna go to bed. No more classes this week, woo! Ten page paper is done and turned in, woo! Tomorrow I'm going shopping, woo! I'll be in New York City in three months, woo!

Peace Out!

I am the heart that you call home
And I've written pages upon pages
Trying to rid you from my bones
My bones
My bones

And if you don't love me let me go
And if you don't love me let me go
