This Just In...
So I realize that I haven't really done a legitimate life update lately, so here it goes: I have a stye in my eye right now, and it hurts! Work is going GREAT, though I won't go into specifics. Brewster is about to have his very first 1/2 birthday next week! He has been teething lately, so he's really bitey, but is doing well nonetheless. My best friend Taryn came to the city last weekend to visit me, and we had a wonderful time! I showed her all around NYC, including Central Park, NBC Studios & Rockefeller Center, SoHo, Herald Square, Ground Zero, the Statue of Liberty, Battery Park, Times Square, and more. We also went to the world-renowned restaurant Serendipity 3, where we had their famous dessert, frrrozen hot chocolate, yummm! I definitely need to start hitting the gym again after intaking that! Also, it has been snowing a lot lately, sometimes just flurries and sometimes more, love it! Brewster loves the snow too, which is soo cute! As you saw in my last post, I will be heading overseas (for the very first time!) in September, where I will visit Paris and London...this will coincide with my 25th birthday! I thought this would be the perfect way to ring in my 25th year, so I'm very excited for the trip. I'm going to spend the next six months planning out every detail, places to sightsee, places to eat, etc. I hope to book the plane tickets and hotel room soon, and then it will be official! Anyway, so basically I have been working lately, relaxing on the weekends, and enjoying life. I'm still lacking in the relationship department, but seriously what's new...that's normal for me. I guess I'm just more career-focused right now, and I haven't really been going out on the town and "looking". Like I said, what's new. I have been going out some with people at work though, especially two super-cool assistants who I thoroughly enjoy hanging out with. In the coming weeks I'm sure we will have the chance to go out more, have some drinks (margarita pitchers!), eat some good food (piggly-wigglys!), and talk about the usual: work. hahha =P So that's the update for now...stay tuned for more breaking news as it comes in. ---devery
