This was posted by leftbase and I am reposting in hopes that my GA peeps can boost further or perhaps know a kind soul with some room for a kitten in need:

goosestep_lion found a blind kitten running loose, almost getting squished in traffic. He is sweet and seems otherwise healthy, but has no eyes. Poor little dude! He looks like a gray and silver tabby, a beautiful coat color.
The local shelter does not take cats, and the vets would simply put him down, too. His rescuer can't provide a stable or safe environment for him right now. This little guy needs a family in the worst way.

If you have room for a special needs kitten, speak up. If you could maybe help drive the little guy to a home further away than in the same state, that would be great, too. Even taking on a couple hundred miles of a longer trip can make a rescue possible if enough people volunteer to do just a little.
