Here are some questions for the people who are a little more mature... Okay, okay... OLD FOLKS like us......
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
school loans - b/c no matter how much i pay, it seems as if i haven't made a dent
2. Where's the best place to eat a romantic dinner?
romantic dinner?! what's that?
3. Last time you puked from drinking?
oh man. i seriously can't remember. probably at nick and johnny's a few years back, after having a few too many rum and cokes.
4. When is the last time you got drunk and danced on a bar?
never
5. Name of your first grade teacher?
Sr. Denise. just one of the many nuns i had as a teacher. she was irish and would always tell us stories of ireland. she still asks about me when my moms sees her.
6. What do you really want to be doing right now?
i'd rather be at home catching up on much needed sleep.
7. What did you want to be when you were growing up?
something healthcare related. i'm not really sure.
8. How many colleges did you attend?
5: UTSA (the summer btwn my junior year and senior year in high school), UH, Del Mar College (corpus), Houston Community College (nursing school pre-req), UTMB (nursing school)
9. Why did you wear the shirt that you have on right now?
b/c i'm at work and they provided me with free scrubs.
10. GAS PRICES!
make no fucking sense. that's why we carpool to work and buy fuel efficient cars.
11. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?
in the states - probably somewhere in the northeast. outside the states - canada, mexico, or somewhere in europe.
12. First thought when the alarm went off this morning?
i was contemplating whether i should hit snooze or not.
13. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
i really wish i could get to bed earlier.
14. Favorite style of underwear for the opposite sex?
boxers
15. What errand/chore do you despise?
litterbox duty and putting away the neverending pile of clean clothes.
16. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery?
maybe. but i would probably spend more time volunteering at a homeless shelter or at a clinic like planned parenthood.
17. Get up early or sleep in?
sleeping in sounds so good. although, sleeping in now means trying to get desmond to sleep past 7.
18. What is your favorite cartoon character?
not sure if i have a favorite.
19. Favorite NON sexual thing to do at night with the opposite sex?
loaf around on the couch watching movies while eating a bowl of popcorn. half the time i'm asleep before the movie ends.
20. A secret that you wouldn't mind everyone knowing?
a little part of me really enjoys listening to tejano music. i guess that's just my mexican roots coming out.
21. When did you first start feeling old?
after buying a house and having a baby.
22. Favorite 80's movie?
most john hughes movies, esp. pretty in pink. but my all time favorite has to be Urban Cowboy.
23. Your favorite lunch meat?
whatever is cheap.
24. What do you get every time you go into Costco/Sams?
don't shop at either of these stores. warehouse clubs are so overrated. when you calculate out the unit price of buying the bulk items, it's very rarely any cheaper than buying from a regular store.
25.Beach or lake?
beaches are nice if they're clean, but most of the ones i've been to have been pretty nasty. lakes are nice b/c you don't have any rip tides or jelly fish to worry about.
26. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual that was invented by ppl who died by the age 20?

old classmates

stalking people online
29. Favorite movie you wouldn't want anyone to find out about?
i would have to agree with
vicatron on this one, Legend of Billy Jean. mostly b/c it was filmed in corpus and i can name where just about every scene was shot.

sailor jerry rum, with cranberry and pineapple juice.

what? they both suck

88.7 houston public radio. we rarely listen to the radio

picking guys over friends. i lost a few good friends in the past b/c of this.

not particularly, but what can you do. at least we have a cubicle wall between us.

giada de laurentiis, b/c she's hot and she can cook the dinner.

you mean completely read? i honestly can't remember. probably something parenting related.

probably in the kitchen. that's probably not that strange.

never been? the list of places i've been is probably shorter (san diego, la jolla, LA, ventura)

i never text. i've rec'd text messages though.
46. At this point in your life would you rather start a new career or a new relationship?
new career
47. Do you go to church?
nope. i did get married in the church, but that was more for tradition purposes. i have a problem with organized religion. and i've probably been to church enough times in my life to count for something.
48. Pencil or pen?
pens. i'm obsessed with fine tip uni-ball signo pens. i have too much fun writing with 0.18mm signos i got for christmas.

i think the last time i saw him he was on some sitcom on cbs.

i just want to live comfortably and be happy

hopefully with a better job and a couple more kids.
