Life has been busy. I was in Indiana for my brother in law's wedding, then in california for two weeks, then in Madison for a weekend. I'll be in California again this month, Madison for a weekend then Iceland for my long awaited honeymoon. After that, I'll be in Chicago for work in September. Finally, Ohio, to spend Christmas with my inlaws.
I really, very much, totally and completely miss Madison. I had a hard time not tearing up when I drove all of its familiar roads. I drove by all the houses, apartments, dorms (and holes where dorms were) that I lived in and loved in. Madison is a ghost town. Not in the sense that it's empty, but in the sense that every part evokes a memory. To go back to this existence in exurbia is cruel.
