All in all, I had an outstanding Feast. I wish I had time to post another long recap, but my computer is actually busted (I'm at the campus) and like everyone else, I have a lot I need to do now that I'm back. It was good being able to see people I hadn't seen in at least a year. (or three years in some cases) Of course, I enjoyed being able to play hymns, and we had a great ensemble this year, as well as talented pianists, and two very good song leaders. (who thankfully led a lot faster than the song leaders we had last year.) The messages were profitable, and in some cases they seemed to be directed right at me particularly the message Dr. Kirkpatrick gave on the Last Great Day.
Some quotes from random people during the Feast that were just funny:
- "Good morning sunshine. " Jesse to Kyle on the First Day of the Feast when he still wasn't up at 1:00pm. (I think we all said it to him at some point, but Jesse was the first.)
- "My baby left me." Josh immitating Elvis.
- "How DARE you use the bathroom today. You went yesterday." Everyone at the house at some point, pondering what would have been had we stayed in the house we were originally supposed to stay in. It was an inside joke.
- "If I eat the rest of this, I won't have room for desert, and I want desert." Courtney to her mom at Applebees.
- "Don't do anything stupid." Mr. Clowdus to all of the House of Terrors.
- "Don't do anything Jesse would do!" Josh and me to Jeff when he took Amber out to dinner.
That's all for now, I'll post more as I have time.
