See, that felt like a whole other show than what I've been watching for...oh, two and a half seasons?
That felt great.
I'm pretty sure inconsistencies (re. lore, back story, etc.) were rampant, but it felt right. I love how Sam put it, too. That Winchester and Campbell = Brain + Brawn. It's like they're assuring us that it's going to be Sam & Dean together forever and ever and ever and ever from now on, because BRAIN + BRAWN. :P
Both boys were written very well this episode, I thought. Sam was mindful of Dean's angst and he was there, I felt, for his brother, even when he's quiet about it. ♥
It also felt like AEONS since Dean's called him Sammy. Had it been?
The episode also made me think about if it would really be different should John had Henry around. He'll probably still meet Mary and fall in love, and Henry would be against it because she came from a ~hunter family and their love will prevail and she'll still be killed in that nursery. That's how I think it'll play out. The only difference might just be that John (and in extension Sam and Dean) would be more awesome at spells and stuff. Which would be super cool. Damn.
On a shallow note, as per usual, boys were looking mighty pretty. *__*
