It's sad that I have to preface with this, but if you're about to say something squee harshing about Dean or Castiel, or Sam for that matter, kindly get the hell off my journal. Thank you.
Y'know, if I'm being honest, I'd say that Sam being Luke's vessel is the first thing I thought would happen in 5.01. Yeah, above Lucifer being some kind of a hottie with slicked back hair and a killer smile. Uh. That is not Sam, that is. :P
It's quite a curve ball Kripke & Co. sent our way there, I think. I'm pretty sure that most people thought about the Sam = Lucifer (or Azazel, at least) and Dean = Michael or maybe the whole brother vs. brother thing and they misled us with Nick somehow. Well, those who aren't spoiled, that is. Which, I just have to repeat, I don't want to be. So spoil me and DIE. Seriously.
If Kripke's going to keep his promise about this show being about the brothers and everything else is just second, the thing with brother vs. brother - both Sam vs. Dean and Lucifer vs. Michael - would be the more interesting choice, IMO. Sam fighting beside Dean in an apocalyptic battle just doesn't spell climax as well.
I went in knowing about Adrianne and the minute she said something about Sam not being able to change, I just knew it'd be Lucifer. Curse the jackass who spoiled me for that. It's a nice angle to go with. So great going, Luke! *g*
MISHA'S FAAAACE. I can't even. ROFL. It had been a while since we've seen Dean grinning and laughing like that, huh? It's most probably just denial again, the poor baby, but I'm glad nonetheless. Feels like he has a purpose again. Plus, you know. The reunion could be LEGENDARY, okay? At least I hope it would be. EEP.
All in all, even though I adore Dean's interactions with Castiel, I HATE how things are going with the boys all separated like that. It's killing me. Although I use it a lot as a plot device. Heh.
Here's hoping that they'll come back together soon(ish)! :D
