when someone like you completely understands my intentions and even manages to say something nice it makes me so happy! and relieved. thank you so much for your comment, it really made my day.

!! i'm glad you love them again. you must have still loved them if you're reading c/b fic :P

I really like how you gave plausible reasons for Blair doubting Chuck (his other women)
i had to plant seeds of doubt otherwise chuck would so be the obvious choice in this story ;). when they fight in Hi, Society she says, 'you almost made a fool of me in front of the NY Times, which proves my very point, you can't be trusted', it seems like they could've fought about it before. nate's dependable. i really love how season 2 blair had stopped expecting all of that from chuck (in a healthy way) and just wanted him for him, i can't wait to see how they deal with it in season 3 now they're actually in a relationship.

what kind of season 2 story were you thinking? i absolutely loved their relationship pre-bart, after their truce and when they seem to be the most honest about their feelings. the only things i really hated was marcus and how they dragged out the 'i love you' thing for the sake of hooking viewers. it was like watching those reality shows when they're about to announce who's getting kicked off, and then cut to commercial.

yes, please friend me! i've added you :)

Uh...I hated everything season 2 from the time Jack left, especially the Elle storyline, the Chuck/Vanessa hookup, and how they handled Blair/Nate with both characters changing from episode to episode. But starting with Elle, I really had problems believing that Chuck loved Blair (when frankly I could have believed it as early as episode 2 in season 1) and I hated that the season was about destroying Blair over and over. The finale didn't fix much for me. So believe me when I say...I was/am off the ship. I had problems with some things before that as well, but mainly it was everything after Bart's death.

At first I thought I was getting so into your fic because it was from a time when I really really loved the ship, but that's not it. It's that you have so much intelligence and control in your writing, and have such respect for both characters. So...whatever you feel like writing with this pair, I will happily and eagerly read.

As for season 2 fic, when I said that I was mainly thinking post Bart's death in a way where the characters weren't all over the map, and Chuck's motivations were more clear (to me at least). As I said, however, I'll read whatever you write.

oh god, somehow i forgot about vanessa, that made me ill. i didn't understand the point of it in the end, since blair didn't give a shit anyway, unless something else is going to happen in s3? :\ elle was also wtf, though i didn't really think much of it at the time, it just seemed like chuck was trying to get over blair in the dumbest way possible, as usual. god that actress was terrible lskdfjs.

i kind of loved them destroying blair because it made her face her vulnerabilities, and taught her how strong she really is. she's so resilient, it's awesome. chuck still has some serious grovelling to do.

re: season 2 fic - i get what you mean, the whole season was really scattered and badly structured. they kept starting things and not finishing them. i'm a missing scenes gal though and this time round the writers put as much c/b as possible, lol. i think i'll watch some s2 again and think about what you said :)
