behavioural patterns of germaness?

I am currently reading this book, Watching the English, about behavioural patterns and hidden rules of englishness. Against all prejudices, I found most of it astonishingly true.
While it has a scientific approach it remains true to the characteristics of englishness in a very casual and easy to understand way.

Now I was thinking, is there any book like that for german culture? I've been looking it up but all I found was serious scientific anthropologist literature.
