Last August my father and I went to Hanover to first visit the local Sea Life Centre and then the Herrenhausen Gardens which I had never been to even though Hanover isn't far away from where I live. And they are such a lovely place, if you're around, you should pay them a visit.
Outside the gardens, walking over to Sea Life.
The library building if I remember correctly.
Sea Life, a bit hidden.
Some impressions from Sea Life, not too many and not many fishes because those aren't that typically German ;)
Sea Life's souvenir shop.
On our way back to one of the actual gardens. Sea Life is located within the area but you have to pay fees to get into some of the gardens.
After a short lunch break we finally got around to enter the Great Garden which is stunning and most likely the best known one of the gardens. Some impressions ...
A stunning view from the top of one of the buildings. It was such a lovely, sunny and warm day which made it even better.
This was at the side of the Garden, a more or less natural border so no fences where needed to keep those out who didn't want to pay ;)
The small building we first stood on, from where you have such a magnificent view.
