Founded back in 1880, first as a felt store, it is said that they created the teddy bear in 1902. They now offer a wide range of different stuffed pets which are quite beloved friends for kids and sometimes even for adults :-) The most famous thing about Steiff most likely is the button in the ear all their pets have. And the high prices :-) When I last went to the shopping mall, they had an exhibition with those pets, some of them were huge.
