I enjoyed this slide show from yahoo that showed what various famous chefs would choose as their last meal:

I've been thinking about what I would choose...

So far, I've decided upon a 10 course meal:

A cracked green olive tampenade with black pepper goat cheese, served on garlic crostini with an accompaniment of korean beiwan black raspberry wine.

An appetizer platter of smoked fish including lox, salmon pate`, smoked whitefish, eel and oysters with plenty of thinly sliced red onion, capers and cracked black pepper

Lobster consomme

Lobster sashimi with freshly shaved diakon and ponzu

A kyoto-riyori style tekka-don with torro, sliced negi, sushi rice, sweet shitaki, shredded laver and drizzled with dark roasted sesame oil. Accompanied by winter-hot unfiltered sake.

Niku-yaki style potato and kobayashi squash with okonomiyaki sauce and shoyu.

Large tiger pawns sauteed in a champagne-garlic sauce, served with feta cheese red bliss potatoes and oven roasted asparagus with sea salt and cracked pepper. Served with a slpit of dry champagne.

A palate cleanser of cold-smoked pruscutto wrapped musk melon.

A southern caribbean style lamb or goat curry with jerk spiced lentils, redbeans and pineapple and served with a bottle of Red Stripe beer.

A cheese and fruit platter including a full-cream brie, smoked edam, fresh mozzarella, jarlsburhg, mango-ginger cheddar, sharp pinconning and a canberry port salaut. With granny smith apples, bosc pears, mixed berries and mixed nuts.

And dessert suggestions?
