I was reading an article on the subject of people living together prior to marriage and very readers were leaving their opinions on the matter in comment form. Opinions ranged from condeming people who "live in sin" to praising the wisdom of those who think practically enough to try out something new before committing to it. I especially enjoyed this comment:
" until recently i would have answered that yes, a couple should definitely live together before getting married. now that i work where i do though, i realize that anything is possible... my bosses are a couple that have been married for 18 years, and their love is totally apparant - they call each other sweet heart and sunshine, kiss hello goodbye and just because, have created a successful and innovative business together that reflects both their skills - and they only knew each other for 45 minutes before they got married. it's quite lovely, really."
I thought it was pretty lovely, too ;-) I think everyone wishes for a love like that, no?
