Ph'Ngloi Mglw' Nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh Wgah' Nagl Fhtagn!

In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu lies dreaming

I just picked this up today - a limited edition "Nightmares of Lovecraft" figure of the Great Old One, Cthulhu himself! I got him for £20, which I'm told is about half the rate for which Cthulhu merchandise usually sells in this country (almost every 3D depiction of Cthulhu - apart from the cute plushy version - has a very limited production run).
Oh, and you know how I mentioned a few posts back that I bought myself a remote-controlled Tyrannosaurus. Well (shamefully) here it is:

Yes I know, it's dreadfully childish and at 20 years old my interest in toy figures is unforgivable. But what can I say, I'm a collector at heart. If I wasn't hoarding dinosaurs and Lovecraftian monsters, I'd be collecting some other junk. Besides, there's always the small chance that this stuff could turn up as roleplaying props. Some one recently updated the 'Rumours' section on my camarilla wiki page, saying that at the last York game, rumour had it my vampire character had been appointed Court Jester of Newcastle. I personally find this just a bit odd, but hey...any excuse to turn up to Elysium with a die-cast resin Cthulhu. For more glimpses of my unutterably childish model collection (and a few much better pictures from my gap year and other things), take a look at my Ringo Page.

Okay, back to the grown-up business of processing ecological survey data.
