Ok, is anybody else amused by his name? I know at least one person who would be. *looks at odiedragon* (Yes, I'm aware it's misspelled in reference to the person I'm referring to. It's close enough to induce a chuckle though.) - Work amusement: The Project Coordinator, Kelly, is also our Build Manager. (That is, she's the person who prepares installation packages for client installs from the source code repository.) She refers to the process of preparing for a build as, "cornering the developers and beating the source code out of them." hehe.
- Was thinking about the concept of passion the other day, and how it's just as multifaceted as some other concepts, such as love. Passion itself is terribly interesting, as I find myself describing it as a measure of the intensity one feels for something. There is just as much passion in the joining of two people making love, as the word is classically associated with by many, as there is in the raised fist and voice of a revolutionary fighter, and as there is in the intense words of musicians singing their wisdom and beliefs. Not going anywhere with this, it was just something on my mind I found interesting.
- Kingdom Hearts 2 is fantastic. I'm nearing the end of the main story line it seems, and I'm extremely pleased with the game and story. Definitely $49.99 plus tax well spent. Should be able to get myself away from this soon, and back to other games.
- Apartment hunt is still continuing, down to about three months until I move so I'm starting to actually consider places now. I've also opened up my range to just about anywhere near or north of Palatine, so if I can find somewhere that's got a one bedroom for less than $700 (preferably $600 or less) and is in a decent neighborhood, plus letting me have Minnie cause goddamnit I miss her, it's in the running. I should also add that it needs to be within 30 minutes drive of work, otherwise this entire experiment is silly.
