I don't care what people say about me!
Elton John is a damn good singer. One of the best CDs I ever stolen was the "Greatest Hits of Elton John 1970-2002" CD. I mean, who doesn't listen to "Good Bye Yellow Brick Road", and picture themselves saying "fuck the city?"
And "Levon?", who doesn't love to hear the plight of Levon? I do! Fuck Levon, he deserves all the bad luck!
And "Your Song?", what a great song it is! If it wasn't for the gaping hole in my heart where intimacy used to be, I would dance and sing along with this song everytime I heard it.
And who can forget "Philadephia Freedom?" This song helped to re-unite a nation on the verge of utter chaos after the terrorist attacks on 9/11, and on a lesser note: will be used to celebrate the 300th birthday of the deceased Ben Franklin.
And even "Nikita" Well, actually I always thought that song was pretty gay. In fact, pretty much everything from Elton John in the 80's was gay, especially Elton John.
