[The video clicks on and a blue-haired pigtailed girl wearing a mic headset appears, sitting at a desk, shuffling a stack of papers officiously. She looks about ten years old. When she speaks, her voice is loud and annoying.]
CONNECTION ESTABLISHED, DESU. SPECIAL SECTOR CFP-TCI REPORTING.
MANY NEW PEOPLE ARRIVED AT MAMMON AMARTH INN THIS WEEK. WHEN ASKED, THE PRETTY MAIDS COULD NOT SPECIFY A NUMBER, BUT CFP-TAN WAS TOLD "A LOT." REASON FOR THIS STRANGE INFLUX OF NEW METÄLLIANS IS UNKNOWN.
ONE OF THE NEWBIES, A VOCALIST, CALLED DOWN A LIGHTNING STRIKE FEET AWAY FROM MAMMON AMARTH'S DOOR. BE MORE CAREFUL NEXT TIME, DESU!
ADDITIONALLY, THE WASTELANDS SEEM TO HAVE RECOVERED FROM THE RECENT E NOMINE/METÄLLIA BATTLE THAT TOOK PLACE LAST WEEK; THE FIRES HAVE BEEN PUT OUT AND THE BROKEN IRON MAIDEN SHRINE HAS BEEN PROPERLY RESPECTED. CITIZENS ARE STILL HIGHLY ADVISED TO STAY AWAY, DESU! GOING NEAR THAT BROKEN SHRINE IS ASKING FOR TROUBLE!
IN OTHER NEWS, THE MANOWAR ZOOQUARIAM IS -
[There is a sudden boom and the room shakes; CFP-tan looks surprised. She looks around, and there's another boom; this time she is thrown out of her chair and the camera falls onto its side on top of the desk. In the background, the sounds of frantic scuffling and distant screams can be heard.]
WHAT WAS THAT DESU?
[At the top edge of the screen (previously the camera's right) the back of her head can be seen; she seems to have dragged herself up from the floor and is addressing somebody offscreen. A second voice shouts back (muffled and unclear), "...omine lan...ongb...ts!" Further conversation is obscured by the sound of another explosion. Suddenly CFP turns back to the camera, looking panicked and speaking quicker than before.]
E NOMINE LANDED LONGBOATS ON THE WESTERN SHORE! IT'S A RAID, DESU!
[There's a scream from off camera as another explosion shakes the room; CFP looks up and a brief flash of horror crosses her face before the camera flickers out into snow. Sounds can still be heard; there's a very loud crash, more screaming, and then the video feed cuts out with one last cry from CFP-tan:]
