But here I am. Safe and sound. Well, maybe not sound; but definitely safe. So, let's recap.
Um, Christmas was ok. Wasn't the best ever due to insufficient funds, but I got what I wanted.
This bad boy. In a natural gloss finish. And OH MAN, is the mahogany SOOO damn beautiful. This guitar is perfect, except for some buzzing of the strings due to action in the bridge. If I just replace them all will be remedied, but I'm lazy and somewhat broke. Plus, I kinda' like the raw sound of the buzzing. Reminds me of the home recorded "You Know You're Right" from the boxed set. As
bjarg put it, it gives it that "nice, homely sound." Oh yeah.
I also got "We Love Katamari," sequel to the insane Japanese puzzle game "Katamari Damacy." Not only is this game unbelievably twisted, but it's crazy fun too. The first day I got it, I played 'til my eyes bled. Literally. Well, they didn't actually bleed per se, but I popped a blood vessel in one of 'em and it hurt really bad. Not too bad, but just enough to give
nozomi429 (the good one) a really ugly image in her head of an eyeball exploding; lol. I think it was all of the bright colors and trippy animations. I'm lucky I didn't have a seizure like so many Japanese Pokemon fans a couple of years ago.
Nothing else has happened. Really. Lately I've been jamming out lots of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and I've developed a newfound love for their truly unique sound. So vibrant and beautiful; if you haven't heard it, buy the Greatest Hits album now to get a tiny taste.
That's all; but at least you know I'm alive. That counts for something, right?
