Boston Movies- They are my Life..
ok no lie, this is kind of rediculous. I can connect myself to pretty much every movie filmed in Boston or about Boston.
1996- Celtic Pride- One of my good friends Dan is one of the kids in the begining gym class
1997- Good Will Hunting- My sister's friend's grandfather was a Bartender at the L St Tavern, and can be seen in the movie
1999- Boondock Saints- I've met one of the brothers, rocco, and troy duffy the writer, although it was mostly shot in toronto there are a couple shots of the red line, the train i rode to high school
2000- The Perfect Storm- In the opening sequence they show a wall of names of dead fisherman. The first names you see are two "Doucettes"
2003-Mystic River- Dennis Lehane wrote it based on the quincy/dorcheser area.
2005- Fever Pitch- bunch of people i knew from emmanuel college were extras at fenway park late at night to film after the games.
2006- The Departed- A couple scenes were filmed in quincy, and hell lets face it, it was about Whitey Bulger...and i have many bulger stories...my favorite is my friend scott has a baby photo where whitey is holding him. adorable.
2007- Gone Baby Gone- Again, filmed in the Quincy Quarries, 5 min from my house, Another Dennis Lehane story, that is even more clearly about quincy/ dorchester since it clearly was filmed there.
2007- 21 - Story about Mit Grads who count cards and take Casinos for thousands. Well they did it for longer than the movie sugests, because my ex- girlfriend Jess's parents played with a couple of them actually and played the roles of the "big players", and my friend Eric is an extra in it
