what it is to feel?

what is difference between lust, and love? what is the fine line that seperates the two. A scientific study it was shown that the brain waves of a man who is lusting after a woman, and the brain waves of a man in love, are the same wavelengths. So what does that mean? how does that factor in? what determines the difference between the emotions. how can we be sure what we feel is what we should feel?
