ALIVE, I AM ALIVE.
my sister has been housesitting and there arent any working computers in my house. so, no lj. but my paper notebook took a beating the last few nights.
so ill write a real update for myself sometime later, but for now... hmmm...
i finished choke today, and am a converted "palahniuk is indeed a probable genius" fan.
i also went to the big headquarters library in belvidere today (<3333) and got mad books to read on vacation.
lets see if i can remember..
another palahniuk book, stranger than fiction or some lame title, thats just a collection of essays (<3333).
sylvia plath's journals (the journals of sylvia plath? sylvia plath's diaries? something.) and kurt cobains journals.
sex, drugs, and cocoa puffs.
on the road.
i was going to get more thompson but then realized that was a ridiculous idea. a) i have approximately 500 pages left of ..shark hunt b) i have six more books to read first.
so i think thats all... i got a shitton of cds and an ani dvd too. and i am a happyass camper! you should all love libraries as much as me.
i also just told my mom and sister about my tatto about an hour ago. my mom took it pretty well, except that she cried. heh. way to make me feel guilty for something i shouldnt feel guilty for! or maybe i should, but whatver. but honestly, good job mom. she cried for about a minute, and then listened to me explain everything about my philosophies on body mods. she told me never to get any more, and i told her i couldnt promise that, but that i would tell her if i did. and she not thrilled but okay. so i feel better. i just kept reminding her that i didnt even need to tell because i could have just worn my other bathing suit all of vacation and she would never know. shit, its been eight months and she didnt have a clue.
plus, it helped that i am intelligent and can clearly argue my points like a fucking lawyer.
for real, i rock at arguing. maybe thats why my papers always turn out so rad. good life skill, right there.
okay, im going to go swim in a pool now. its hot out!
