For anyone who is reading this and didnt know, I have been in Canada for the last 3 weeks. I miss it so much already! And that I went with K and Sam made it all the more fun! We landed at Gatwick yesterday morning at 4am, and the drive back on the almost empty motorways was surreal. We were on the wrong side of the road, it looked like my mum was driving instead of Ks mum, and the roads were so much smaller! And there also werent random intersections everywhere, and the signs werent green. Ah. I think I have finally gotten over my jet lag, have been sleeping yesterday and most of today. Its only 4.20pm out there!
Well, we went to so many great places and saw such wonderful things. Toronto is a lovely city, and nice and busy with HUGE buildings. We did lots of shopping, especially Sam ha ha ha. We ventured into Chinatown and saw the most beautiful Chinese dresses in that shopping place. Was a shame we didnt get all the way to Cabbagetown, and only made it to Corktown, but oh well another time Im sure. Canada's Wonderland was great, and I went on many a ride including that huge vertical drop and my first rollercoaster with a loop. I was rather proud. Toronto Zoo was fun, with the llamas and flamingoes. Shame it was so hot that day that many animals werent out and we rode the Zoomobile a lot to get a breeze. The CN Tower was amazing, and the view from it was wow! I really cant wait until my pictures from all this come out! Square One was huge, I guess I should have expected that being as its the largest shopping mall in Ontario. Was a shame we didnt get to explore more of it. Brampton was such a great area to stay, a massive thank you to Heather for allowing us to take over her home for 3 weeks!lol. It was a nice place to just walk around. We did so much walking! I'll always remember us 3 walking down Main Street North and then William's Parkway after our trips to Toronto. And getting the GO Train at early hours of the morning. I think in Toronto we got used to walking down Bay Street and Queen Street West, which lead us to the Eaton Centre. I think I prefered that centre because I felt a bit more 'at home' there, was nice.
Anyway, its a long entry, and it still doesnt do justice to the great time we had. yay Canada!
