205. Moment where I wish I had a camera
The three of them were gathered around Goren’s desk. I’m fairly sure they thought no one else was looking. Logan was telling some story, I didn't immediately know which, but Goren was doubled over laughing and even Ross had a smile cracked.
I’d come back from the break room, but when I saw them, I didn’t dare make a sound. This…this was too rare. All of them actually getting along at the same time? I wish I had it on film. I’d put it into evidence and mark it on the calendar. Instead, I just watched.
Logan went into the punch line of his joke, and I realized it was the same dirty story he’d told me when we were on a stakeout the week before. The guys were much more amused than I was. A little too amused, actually, but…boys will be boys. And at least they weren’t at each others’ throats.
