RP Moment
Lani started a slow run through the park. It was a beautiful morning, and she had no problem being up early to run before work. Work had been stressful lately with certain cases, and she wanted to clear her head before going back to it all. Which wasn't too different as she ran most mornings. She picked up the pace a bit.
She was feeling better. Despite work, she was feeling better. The dreams had stopped completely and she was sleeping again. She had an amazing visit with the twins, and had been very sad to see them leave. Kala had finally come home from L.A. Lani was happy to see that her sister was doing better with everything and mostly back to her happy smiling self.
Things just weren't bothering her like they had been. She was still doing a lot of nothing aside from work and hanging out at home, but she was okay with it. She had Danny's stupid ass to entertain her during the day and keep her from burning her desk down. At night she...well if Kala was actually home for the night, she got quality time with her sister. If not, she had quality time with herself. And she liked that.
A smile spread to her lips as she pushed herself and ran harder. She couldn't help but keep her eyes trained on the horizon, watching the sun peek out to rise.
