Been a long time :-P
Well, a lot has happened between the last time I wrote in this thing and now. I've been home since the end of March. I never went back to Elk though, except for a couple days here and there. I took a class in bartending and got a job in Everett. Jaana and I have been living in a townhouse together after two weeks of living with her parents. I'm back in school (finally). I'm only taking one class this quarter, but I'll take on a full load next quarter. hopefully I'll be done by this time next year. We'll see what happens. I proposed to Jaana on August 17, 2005. That was our one year aniversary... We went to Seattle (I know not a big vacation), and I tried to slip the ring on without her nticing while she waslooking at one of the displays in the EMP in Seattle Center. It got caught on her knuckle so she looked.
As soon as she looked at it I asked, "Do you want to spend the rest of your life with me?"
She immediately said yes and hugged me tightly. I thought we hugged forever, but only a couple minutes had passed. I also got a new car, it's a 2002 Mustang. Anyway, we're thinking about buying a duplex after out lease is up here. That way we can rent out the other portion to help pay the mortgage. That would rock because when it's time to get a bigger place we can just rent out our section and buy another place :-P.... Thank god for VA loans :D... Anyway, I work as a bartender/server at Elmer's Breakfast Lunch Dinner in Lynnwood, WA. So if you ever feel like getting a bite to eat or a beer drop on buy in the evening time :-P. I was working six days a week there, but they finally found someone to cover me so that I could get two days off instead. I have mixed feelings about that though. It cuts down my hours by 5 hours and my tips by $30-40 a week... Oh well, I'm sure I'll figure out how to survive. I always do :). I could stop putting money into savings... I've been putting 10% of everything I make in there.. It's doing alright. Hopefully I'll get done with college next year so I can get a real job. I hope I can find a job in IT close by, but I've been hearing that people are getting cut back everywhere...
Anyway, things seem to be coming together nicely. I'll keep ya'll posted.
