Just back from Paris. Got to see the Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triumph and Cleopatra's Needle on the first night. The second day we met my uncle, went to the outdoor market and got a bunch of food and had a 7 hour lunch. 4 bottles of wine, 1 bottle of champagne, 5 cheeses, 2 kinds of pate, endive salad, olives with almonds in them, tomatoes with mozzarella, potatoes au gratin, other potato puff thingers, roast chicken, coffee chocolate and vanilla eclairs, and other stuff I'm probably forgetting. After that we went for a drink in an Irish pub and met an actual Irish person, which was weird for Paris. Today we went to Sacre Cour. Climbed 300 steps up a tiny stone spiral staircase to the top of the dome where we could see all of Paris. Found a beautiful little cafe for lunch before we had to get back on the Eurostar to London.

So far this trip rocks.
