Since a lot of people have been asking, I cobbled together last Friday's playlist from our set at Mechanize at The Works. *note, this is kind of crap as it isn't really in the right order - we bounce off each other after one or two songs because we're that ADD, we don't each do a set, but I'm too lazy to reconstruct the whole thing as it really happened linearly. :P

We'll be at it again this Wednesday night outside on the Alley Deck at the Majestic. DARK ASS BATS is a fun little residency w/ our good friend Mr. Sean Whaley (aka GLU HUFR). It's FREE! The weather is supposed to be really NICE for the very first time since we've had this gig, so come on out and have a beer or two and dance or throw tomatoes...we know, it's a school night - it can be as low key or not as you want it to be.
Then this Friday it's ON again for MOTOR LIVE at The Works. For those who have not been, the back room is fantastic and there is an unholy assload of sound being brought in to supplement, by the one and only Source Audio.
MOTOR's new album Metal Machine and monstrous industrial-strength acid workout Death Rave are out on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak label in the US and T. Raumschmiere & Apparat's Shitkatapult label in Europe.
As the title suggests, Motor’s new album ‘Metal Machine’ is abrasive metallic music, combining tough techno beats and raw rock riffs, underscored by ‘relentless mechanical grooves that spit blood’
All ten new album tracks retain Motor’s trademark industrial/ rock elements previously showcased on albums 'Klunk' and 'Unhuman', though this time round the emphasis is firmly on the dance-floor.
“We wanted it to carry on the spirit of those first two records, but at the same time we had to break new ground and we knew after producing just a few rough demos that the new record was going to be seriously raw and off the wall,” says the band, “We wanted to get back into the clubs with a fresh sound.”
