My weekend has been quite swell. The show was allright. I really like Goodnight Julia, and had a rousing time in the "pit". Remember, its circle pits not karate kicks(TJ told me that one). I wasn't really feeling well during the show though. But I still managed to rawk.
On Saturday I went puddle skimming. That was fun. I got covered in mud and smelled like rotten ass.
Today I just cruised around with some friends. Another fun day.
Lately I've been listening to a ton of Tech Metal. Spastic Ink is definately one of the best bands I've heard. They really take progressive metal to new hights. Very jazzy, but at the same time metal. I really love the technicallity of the music, especially the drumming. Very off-beat, a lot like what I love to play. Odd time sigs are nice also. And the bassist, man, he's nuts. The bassist and drummer are brothers go figure. The guitar isn't anything extremely crazy, but its wicked creative. Also, no vocals, which is one thing that I like.
