So if I really hate school and I decide to quit a term early, causing me to finish with a 3 year general degree rather than a four year honours (because yes I really want out of school that much), what's the difference? Both will provide me with a bachelor of arts (philosophy) but will they make a difference in applying to jobs? Or is the difference just that with a general degree you can't go to grad school without upgrading?
Basically, I can't do this for much longer and completing this term will be rough. I already have enough courses for a 3 year degree, I'm just missing one phil req, which I'm currently taking. Finishing early means I'll only have three classes this term and less stress. Finishing with my honours degree means 5 courses this term and four next term. I really am in a situation such that fogetting about the honours degree just to save myself four months is worth it. My question is simply, if I'm not going to grad school, isn't a bachelor's a bachelor's? (Remember, I'm Canadian).
