HOME SWEET HOME!!!
ah alas i'm home with my own bed and my OWN bathroom. The luxury. I got back like at 1:30 this morning from D.C. 2 very different programs the National Student Leadership Conference in D.C and the Lorenzo de Zavala Youth Legislative Session in Chicago. LDZ was puro latinos and NSLC i was one of 3 hispanics. The other 2 were guys from Laredo and Brownsville. It was cool at NSLC i made lotz of Asian friends. But wow just comparing i cannot say one was better than the other because they were both better than eachother in different categories. I had so much fun i wish i could go back to both. Ugh yesterday was scary cuz i thought i was gonna miss my flight for arriving to the airport late. luckily i didnt. I had a 2 1/2 layover in Houston which turned out to delayed another 1 1/2 due to weather. Luckily i ran into a friendly face who turned out to be Vince Delgado and his family. It was nice cuz i wasnt alone and they were very nice to take me home from Harlingen. I think the first thing i did when i got home was run to my bed and fall asleep. What sucked though was that i had to get up today for Driver's Ed make-up classes. I thought i was going to be all loner but my buddy Overlin was there so it was nice talkignt o him again unfortunately i have to go back tomorrow and the day after. Ugh i still have to unpack and then i have to with my mom to go get "SANDBAGS" for the hurricane. blah
