I'm trying to write this dream down as soon as I'm waking up because I've been forgetting the details of my dreams before I get to it.

In this one, I was a member of some sort of border security. Interestingly, instead of walls and gates, this border was divided by a mall. One of my coworkers was John Krasinki from the office.

Another was a man that this dream's narrator (Don't ask me why this dream had a narrator suddenly) described as having been "born with stalker tendencies, but luckily for him the target of his obsession was chocolate cake. He doesn't realize that he needs that cake, but he does." It was a very Arrested Development moment.

Chocolate cake stalker was being hit on by by another mall employee. She said something to him to the effect of "You know, I've always liked working with you because you were the least weird person in here- good thing you didn't start being a weirdo until after I got to know you, right? Ha ha." She asked him if he'd like to come over her place sometime, and that he should bring one of the amazing cakes that he bakes, but she was not acknowledged at all because cake man was completely absorbed in looking at cake photos.

Later, there was some excitement on the outside of the border wall. Some terrorist/demonstrators were gathering outside. Eventually they started setting fires- generally being terrorizing. Krasinki left his post and ran out into the confusion and I ended up following him. We became targets for these people and the situation escalated to the point that some of them were setting fire to themselves and running at us, and created a huge firewall in a ring around us so that we couldn't get back into the mall. We managed to do some olympic style leaps over the flames and make it back into the safety of our border/mall, but I was very upset with John. I wrestled him to the ground (even though in this dream he was a literal giant compared to me) and lectured him about the fact that our job was not to ensure justice, our job was to keep the mall secure.
