Is there any better way to spend your new year evening, than with your dearest friend, playing Pokemon and watching Simpsons?
Well I'm sure there are, but I'm going to enjoy myself! Eventually I-
Oh, My machop just leveled up. Trying to have him transform into Machoke so I can traide him into a Machamp. Yes I play Pokemon.
I was wondering why people say Pokemon is for kids, there games maybe be a little childish on the script part, it's still a roleplaying game that you need to understand what's going on. When I was a kid it took me ages to play these games as I didn't understand english at all, now, while playing Diamond, it feels as if I'm flying through it. Not that it matters.
Diamond as in a game is a little boring, compared to the way older game, Crystal, I find this one lacking. Crystal had a very long and solid storyline, it wasn't just about the 'becoming da gretust Pokiman mastah', Team Galactica doesn't count, they're pussies. Crystal had a lot into it, much to do and even without all the DS upgrades I still find that game way more to my liking.
Besides Pokemon I also got into a new series, Lewis. I'm all but in love with this Morse Spin off series, I liked Lewis more than Morse anyway. And there are slashable maincharacters, what more could you want :D? It's a light show, without the American style of gore and explosions, and don't forget the chase scenes. Lewis just requires you to sit down and enjoy it with a glass of your favorite drink, some snacks and a sense for British humour. As a spinoff of Morse I'm happy they didn't just ditch him as a character, they do talk about him quite often and he's got something to do with some cases at times. I like it when a spinoff still remembers it's just a spinoff. Those who doesn't know, Morse was a series before Lewis. Lewis was Morse's partner back then. The Lewis series is about Lewis as an inspector and his new parter, James Hathaway (giggle)
Also need to start on my new Jeeves book a teacher gave me for christmas, I say, she knows me doesn't she :D Jeeves for Christmas is the best Christmas ever.
fangirling,
