it's all stuff confirmed in the series. as for other things that aren't known, they bring them up and then say it's still a mystery, leaving me to be all: jksdflkjsdkfjlksdjf
Joking aside, I always thought it was James Black (head of FBI). "we've met the boss and were not aware of it at the time" makes it seem that we've only met the boss briefly. Perhaps he or she was not a huge main character, but was still important? Someone like Makoto, Sonoko's boyfriend. But I don't think it's Makoto...
And what does this say about Haibara's 'sixth sense' to smell out the Organization's members?
That's the reason why I caught onto it. Because really, why would Conan make such a random comment unless Gosho wanted to tell us something? Because in the end, it really was really random. Many people other than the infamous Prof. Moriarty have the first name 'James.'
Ugh I hate the "Mysteries and Secrets Revealed!" Series. There's one for Fruits Basket, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, etc. These books are nothing more than fan speculations, theories, and a few facts that came from various interviews. Notice that Viz, Shonen Jump, and any other company actually affilliated with Detective Conan are not listed as participating in the making of the book at all. It's an interesting read, but the "facts" in this book should be taken with a grain of salt.
...sorry for the rant, but I read the Fruits Basket edition of this book, and the things they were spouting as "facts" in there were nothing more than fan speculations/ theories that made my blood boil, especially since they were selling this thing in Borders...
Is it really mostly fan-speculation? What helped a little was the mentioning of some interviews, but the authors do not cite their sources.
Some of the entry answers I've never heard before, like Shiho and Gin having sex O.o. Also, the book doesn't mention that Shiho is also deathly afraid of Vermouth.
And I wonder why this series is not affiliated with the official companies... (/sarcasm). I wonder why no one has sued DH Publishing yet for this strange series of fanbooks, that don't appear to be fanbooks.

and yeah, Agasa is actually mentioned as a possibility. 'fansites are abuzz with comments such as "maybe is Agasa" or "It has to be Mori Kogoro'

the only one that I've heard theory of that sticks out in my mind is Yoko.

I mean, honestly, who would expect Gin's hanger-on to be the mastermind? And it's quite probable Haibara's met him.
