Upcoming Conventions? Conan Meetup anyone?
Alright. I've done this with other groups, but I've never actually "attempted" to put one together for Conan fans (perhaps because we're usually so spread out.
Anyway: There is an upcoming convention in Dallas, TX called A-kon. And I know I for one will be attending, so I thought this time I might see if anyone's going to be around and if anyones interested in meeting up for lunch or something.
We can just chat, meet, talk about cosplay or anything else-- I don't know about anyone else but it's always the game of "Who Can Spot the Conan Fans?" aka "Is that person wearing a white top hat and monocle? Do I see a small child with a bow tie? Whose that boy that sort of looks like Pheonix Wright... but wait... do I spy a BOW TIE and an antenna?"
So here's the call out for any attendees!
Lets see if anyone's interested and then I'll see about a time/place meet up. There's always the Westin across the street in the Mall of America... I also believe there is/was possibly a sushi restaurant in walking distance. If not I know there are several other places pretty close by if we wanted to pick one, meet up and go.
