OOC: What happened to yesterday? I passed out from exhaustion after the World Cup final, that's what happened. RP Moment | At the Reception

After the cutting of the cake and having their first dance, Alex and David found themselves outside getting some well-deserved fresh air. Johnny Eames had been the only one to give a speech, claiming his son-in-law was too shy to speak to everyone. It had earned a chuckle and a half, and a semi-glare from David as a joke.

"I didn't realise how much your dad loved me!" David exclaimed.
Alex smirked. "Are you thinking you married the wrong Eames?"
"Nah, he's not my type."
Alex chuckled at his joke. "He did say some surprising things."

"I really enjoyed hearing about that time you escaped from your crib as a toddler." David laughed.
"Just be grateful that Ellie doesn't do that." Alex smirked. "Yet."

David smiled, putting an arm around her shoulder and tugging her close. He had to admit, this really was the best day. She looked incredible, not that he told her that; he didn't have to, she knew.

As he leaned in to kiss her, there was the sound of someone clearing their throat. David looked over to see his eldest daughter standing there, hands on her hips. "Ahem. You have guests." Sam told them. But instead of dragging them back into the main hall, she pulled up a seat and plopped herself down on it. "Fresh air, it's so good."

"Having a good time?" Alex asked.
Sam smirked. "It ain't that bad."
David rolled his eyes.
"I was dancing with Ellie, but I think she got bored." Sam explained.
Alex frowned. "Where is she?" Sam gestured to the reception hall. "I'll go find her."
