RP Thread | Ellie's Party [Sunday 23rd]
OOC: I'm posting this now because some people won't be here from Sunday, and I thought getting a head start would make it easier for them :).
It was mid-afternoon, and Ellie had not long woken up from her nap. She was rubbing her eyes as Alex tried to get her in to a pretty little dress for the party. Ellie wasn't so keen on the dress, and was more interested in her book. Alex was about ready to call it quits on the dress and just let her parade about in a diaper. She didn't know what the fuss was about anyway.
In the living room, a few people -- mostly family -- were already starting to gather. Simple decorations had been placed around the room- a Happy Birthday sign and a few balloons. Presents had been neatly placed on the table in the far corner, out the way of kiddie fingers. Although a couple of young kids were running around, a little hyper from the excitement, it was fairly calm and they were just chatting to each other quietly as they waited for everyone else to show up.
