The young NYPD tech swallowed, hard, from the glare Alex Eames was aiming his way. "I... I don't know what's wrong with the hard disk but I--I'll find out."
"It was fine until you attempted to upgrade it." Alex almost snarled, her mood swings had definitely swung towards the negative side. He almost fell into the seat behind him, which happened to be at Alex's desk, under her wrath. "What have you got, software butter fingers?"
"I'm sorry." He lowered his head, and sighed as he sat down and looked at her computer.
"Just fix it without overly apologising." She scowled, grabbing another seat and shoving it at him. "You're in my seat."
"...right." He stood up and swapped seats round. Alex took her seat and sat in it, grabbing a few folders and papers and getting to work on those. Occassionally glancing at the young man with an annoyed sigh.
After a little under an hour of working on her computer, he stood up and picked the laptop up. Alex lifted her head up from her work and scowled. "What the hell are you doing?"
With hesitation he said, "I have to take this to the lab... it can't be fixed here. You might need a new HD. I'm sorry."
Alex rolled her eyes as he bolted out of MCS faster than lightning.
