i'm at my parents' house for mother's day weekend & besides watching raiders of the lost ark on usa [really though how did i forget how cute karen allen was?] i am so bored, so here is some FUN SHIT i've been up to lately:

- i ran a 5k last month in about 35min. pretty awesome even though that distance is like, nothing. i'm seriously considering training to run the half marathon [13.1 miles] at disneyland in august. we'll see!

- work work work, another fashion week came & went. the gift bags were sweeter for the spring 08 shows.

- i went to disneyland with taylor for my birthday. it was 102 degrees outside, but we didn't know that until we got home because we were under the impression that it only got to 93 degrees, which psychologically enabled us to not be miserable. regardless, it was a great birthday.

- speaking of taylor, we just got a new bitchin apartment in west los angeles. it is the cutest place ever with a brass doorknocker, a mantle/fireplace, & hardwood floors. i can still take surface streets to culver city. & i'm paying almost $200/month less than i have been for the townhouse. plus i'm living with taylor! finally! sweet.

- took a little trip to san francisco a couple weeks ago [again, with taylor]. dude, sf loved us. we met people all over the place. i also got to see matt & maverick which was amazing! i missed them both so much.

- i've been going to upright citizens brigade like, a lot. i'm kind of obsessed. when i went last week we were having dinner at the thai place nearby before we got in line & tony hale walked in with a few friends. when the waitress greeted him he looked around anxiously & asked, 'ummm yeah, can we sit here?' & motioned EXACTLY LIKE BUSTER BLUTH i shit you not, i almost died right there. heyyyy big brother. then david cross was the surprise guest at our show so it was a very 'arrested' evening. except unlike tony, david acts nothing like tobias funke in real life.

- i am going to salt lake city, ut memorial day weekend for one of my friend/co-worker's wedding. she is not mormon, but is having a super traditional & elegant ceremony. i hope my purple hair is well-received.

- i just had another bellydance recital last week. it was a drum solo routine that i loved so much. after class i was hanging out with my guests & my teacher [basically my hero] gave me a hug & invited me to start staying for the advanced class because 'beginning is too easy for you.' hells yeah guys. deliciously tacky bellydance costumes, here i come!

in conclusion, nothing grosses me out quite like pork rinds.
