Pumpkins in Romania, Challenge One
Title: “Pumpkin Carving”
Author: [info]sodapopprincess
Challenge: Challenge #001 - Pumpkin Carving
Rating: PG for drinking
Characters/Parings: Oz, implication of Oz/Willow
Word Count: Exactly 100
Warnings/Author's Notes: Takes place right after Season 4, drinking, thoughts about a past he is trying to forget
Jack o’ Lanterns. Tradition cultivated by the Irish, fleeing their potatoes. But Oz was not in Ireland and no pumpkin carving here. Romania preferred theirs with herbaceous cream.
The pumpkins in Sunnydale were on his mind: straight from the grocery, primed for carving. Oz signed, knowing not only was he swaying from the whiskey, but it wasn’t really the pumpkins he was remembering, but being home. And maybe the way her hair glinted like fall colors.
Another shot of whiskey and this memory would fade just like the others. He just hoped the wolf would decide to stay silent tonight.
Betrayal (Challenge 2)
Title: Regret and Pinecones
Author: [info]sodapopprincess
Challenge: Challenge #002 - Pinecones
Rating: R for sexual content
Characters/Parings: Veruca/Oz
Word Count: Exactly 100
Warnings/Author's Notes: Flashback to Wild at Heart
Implications were made that wolf-y Oz held no memories, a seizure of sorts leaving behind no clues. That wasn’t exactly true. The night with Veruca, rampaging and running until even the animal was out of breath, he remembered moments.
Pouncing her, playing roughly, pinecones crunching beneath her lithe back. Scratching, biting, moaning and baying to the moon, he entered her and lust played out its game with their bodies. Morning awoke him in a haze that smelled of sex and pinecones, a disrobed Veruca beside him.
It was only later, naked and running home, he recalled every betrayal to Willow.
